Kintsugi Wilds
Mend the wild, one tile at a time
A calm tile-matching game. Each tile holds half of a hand-painted creature: find its other half and it heals with a seam of gold, then wanders off into a world that ripples, rustles and drifts at your touch.

This is Kintsugi Wilds
Kintsugi is the Japanese art of mending broken pottery with gold, so the cracks become part of its beauty. In Kintsugi Wilds, every creature on the board has been broken in two.
Tap two tiles to bring the halves back together. They mend with a glowing gold seam, and the healed creature swims, hops, scuttles or flies away to explore. Some are shy, some wander, and the curious ones stay to follow your finger.
It plays like Mahjong solitaire: tiles stack in layers, and only free tiles can be picked. But every board is guaranteed solvable, and in Harmony and Kintsugi there are no timers and nothing punishes you for taking your time. When you want a race instead, switch to Rush or Stack.
And the world itself is there to play with. Stir the water, sweep the leaves, plough the sand, push the clouds. Sometimes that is the whole point.
How it plays
MEND WITH GOLD
Match the two halves of a creature and they heal with a kintsugi seam, mending right down the middle.
THE WORLD ANSWERS
Every environment reacts to your finger: ripples on the water, petals and leaves pushed aside, grooves in the sand, clouds swept across the sky.
FACE-DOWN TILES
Tiles buried two or more layers deep lie face down. Clear the layer above one and it rolls over by itself, showing who's been hiding there.
THE FREE-TILE RULE
Tiles are stacked in layers. A tile can be picked when nothing sits on top of it and its left or right side is open. Blocked tiles are dimmed, so the free ones stand out.
A FIELD GUIDE
Every creature you meet has a page in the field guide, with a portrait and a few true facts about the real animal.
CALM, NOT TIMED
Harmony and Kintsugi have no timers and no lives. Matches in a row build Flow for bonus points, a crowd of healed creatures roaming at once earns a little extra, and a lantern hint or a tide shuffle is there when you are stuck.
Play it calm
Two untimed modes, at your own pace. Switch any time in Options.
HARMONY
Each tile holds a whole creature. Pair the twins and they swim together and become one.
KINTSUGI
For a real challenge: each tile holds half a creature. Reunite the halves and they mend with a seam of gold.
Or play it fast
Two timed modes with the classic mahjong tiles, over the same wild places, with creatures wandering through. Pairs slam together and smash.
RUSH
Race the clock. Quick matches chain into combos that multiply your points and win back time, and every cleared board adds more.
STACK
Tap a tile and it flies up to a stack of four, where twins smash. Fill the stack with strangers and it jams, costing you time; tap one in the stack to send it back.
Short, medium, long
No difficulty to pick: creatures always face up. Choose how long a game lasts; every game has 6 hints and 3 shuffles. Rush and Stack set their own board sizes.
SHORT
88 tiles: a quick game.
MEDIUM
About 160 tiles: a good, calm game. The default.
LONG
Over 200 tiles: a long, relaxing game.
